How do you dispute fraud on your account

Thanks for bringing this attention to us. Please know that safeguarding your account is our top priority. With that, I'll route you to the right support group to report the fraudulent activity and process a dispute. 

 

Before we proceed, can you tell us which platform this activity happened on? Currently, there are no similar concerns about fraud on WorldRemit posted on the QuickBooks Community page. However, you can check out our security notices for details of suspicious emails reported by other Intuit customers.

 

If this happens in WorldRemit, I suggest contacting their customer support to report fraudulent activity and process a dispute. In addition, you can report potential scams through our Privacy & Security website. Here's how:

 

  1. Visit our Intuit Privacy & Security website and scroll down to the I have a privacy-related question section.
  2. Fill in the form accordingly.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Our Security Team will receive your concern and will contact you via email.

I don't knw what platform it happened on.

I did not do the transaction.  It is fraud.  I looked in my account and there it was.

First, we'll need to gather your details about the unrecognized transaction, including the amount, date, and merchant information. You can also check the Audit Log to see who created the transaction in your QuickBooks Online account. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.

 

I recommend contacting your financial institution to report fraud and to request a chargeback for the money lost. I also recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online live support or WorldRemit support to provide additional steps and monitor the account for further suspicious activity.
