How to have Intuit try a customer’s recurring payment again?

A customer’s credit card was declined for a monthly recurring payment for insufficient funds

 

They say all should be ok now

 

How do we have Intuit try the payment again?

 

I thought I could change the Next Bill Date to have it try soon then change it after but the date can’t be changed - There’s a “how to change this date” link that takes you to a page where I don’t think this was covered.

Hello there, @geoinct.

 

You'll need to ensure that your client's credit card information is updated. I'll guide you through the steps.

 

Here's  how:

  1. From the left panel, click Sales.
  2. Select Customers.
  3. Choose the customer you want to edit.
  4. Click Edit at the top right. (If you can't see the Edit button, you need to set up the credit card payment methods in the Payment List.)
  5. Go to the Payment and Billing tab.
  6. Under Preferred payment method, click a credit card.
  7. Fill in credit card information.
  8. Click Save.
