I can not add online payment option

I am trying to make it so that my customers are able to pay an invoice when I email them one. I believe I have found out how t do it, by "edit", "preferences", "company preferences" under the "payments" section. But when I try to select either credit card or bank account to allow for payment methods I get the notice I have attached. I exit Quickbooks and retry and get the same message. I have closed company etc and it is still coming up with this message. Someone please help!

Log in to your Gopayments account and update what needs updating, probably from your overall intuit account at camps.intuit.com then try again

Thank you for the reply. It says there are no payment methods listed for my account with a button to the right that says "change". When I click on it, the below picture comes up and I click on my name shown but nothing at all happens or comes up, so I click save and close in the bottom left and it brings me right back to the previous page showing no payment methods and nothing at all has changed...qb snapshot2.png

First thing I want you to do is , with QB open, hit your F2 key and look at the revision number for your install. As of today it should be "R5" if it is less then run a manual update or you may even need to repair your install. I had an issue yesterday with updating payroll and had to repair.  I also had been getting a critical update error every  time I started QB, the repair of the program fixed it. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/community/Help-Articles/Fix-QuickBooks-Desktop-Windows/m-p/239116?adva...

 

Next run the TLS verification tool http://dlm2.download.intuit.com/akdlm/SBD/QuickBooks/TLSTool/TLSTool.exe

 

Try clearing cache and history in your default browser as well. Browsers get bloated and can prevent simple popups from showing that you need to see.
