I can not use my debit card to purchase. What is the reason? And how I can do?

Hi, Xavier. I'd like to know if you're using the QuickBooks debit card? If so, you'll need to access and activate the virtual card first to avoid purchase decline. Also, your virtual card is available until you activate your physical QuickBooks debit card. This could be the reason of your issue.

Here's how to access your virtual card:

  1. Go to the All apps section. Select Lending, then QuickBooks Checking.
  2. Choose View account. Then, Manage account.
  3. In the QuickBooks Debit card section, pick Card info and complete the security steps to verify your account.

Take note of the card information, as you'll use it to enable the card in the subsequent process.

The next step is to activate your QuickBooks debit card. You can follow the steps below:

  1. Go back to the QuickBooks Checking section.
  2. Select Activate card. Create a PIN, then choose Next.
  3. Enter the Card Number, Expiration Date, and CVV.
  4. Once done, click Confirm.

Check out this article for more information: Use the QuickBooks debit card to get your cash and make purchases.

However, if you're referring to a different debit card type, please let us know by leaving a comment below so we can assist you right away.
