Hello there, Futureman. It’s great to see you joining the Community and making your first post. I know invoices are a crucial part of your business. Let’s go through some troubleshooting together to ensure you can create a sales entry seamlessly.
Beforehand, could you let me know what you're trying to add or update on your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) invoices? Are you working on an item, a customer, transaction details, a note, a logo and color, payment options, or a Pay invoice link? This information will help us identify the best solution to get you back on track quickly.
In the meantime, we can perform quick troubleshooting to isolate the issue that prevents you from adding something to the sales form that isn’t restricted.
If you're using a device or a web browser, I recommend refreshing the page. You can log out and back in to QBSE if the same behavior persists.
If you're using the QBSE app on Android or iOS, please refer to these steps instead:
For Android:
- In your phone Settings, go to Apps.
- Find the QBSE app and select Storage.
- Select Clear storage or Clear cache.

For iOS:
- Go to Settings on your device, then General.
- Click iPhone storage and tap the QBSE app.
- Free up the storage without deleting app data by hitting Offload App.

- Locate and tap the app from your Home Screen to reactivate and use it again.
Once you’ve completed the steps, restart your mobile device and confirm that your internet connection is stable.
My team and I are here to give you all the support you need as you manage your tasks. If you have any other questions about generating or customizing invoices, don’t hesitate to return to this thread—we’re just a quick message away. Take care!
