I have Stripe fees that are not showing up in my books. My Stripe fees are what we pay customers when customers pay online with a credit card. Stripe pulls the fees before they deposit payment so out books don’t show what we are paying them. Help!

I record the stripe fees right on the deposit slip as a deduction against the deposit (a negative amount), applied to my "CC Fees" expense account.

Do you just split this on a deposit? Does it show a negative amount in the right hand corner at the bottom of the slip as you add the split? Just want to make sure it is reflecting correctly.

The deposit that stripe entered into my account was $340.19. I decided to just take out a lump sum of all 2nd quarter fees on this one stub because I there's 50 transactions and didn't want to do them individually for 2nd quarter. Am i doing that right?

Hi there, chefh.

Ideally, it would be better that you record each transaction. This way, you can easily track them.

I've added screenshot for reference:
