I was connecting with my credit card through quickbooks online with no issue until my credit card (24-7cardaccess) revamped their website. Now, I cannot connect.

I spoken with a rep from 24-7cardaccess who says the issue must be resolved through quickbooks. Has anyone had this issue and/or been able to resolve it?

I'm glad to see you reaching out to the Community. It would be my pleasure to help you get back on track with connecting your credit card.

 

Once there are changes to the bank's website, it'll interrupt the connection from the QuickBooks system. Did you check if there are any changes to the URL link as well?

 

Let's start with manually downloading your transactions through the Bank Feeds to see if this option works:

 

  1. On the left panel, click Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select your credit card account.
  4. Click Update three times.

If the problem continues, let's proceed with signing into your bank's website within QuickBooks Online. Here are the steps:

 

  1. On the left panel, click Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select Add account.
  4. Copy and paste the URL link from the bank's website.
  5. Select the bank.
  6. Enter login credentials.
  7. Click Continue.
  8. If you can sign in, check your account page for messages, notifications, or alerts.
  9. Check your bank’s website for any new security requirements. 
  10. If everything looks good, go back to the Banking tab in QuickBooks.

Please note even something as simple as updating your bank password can block QuickBooks. In case you have changes on your bank's website, please update your bank info through these steps:

 

  1. On the left panel, click Banking.
  2. Go to the Banking tab.
  3. Select the blue tile for the bank account, then the pencil icon to edit.
  4. Select Edit sign-in info and update your username and new password.

I'm having the same issue.  I unlinked the account and now when I try to re-add it, Quickbooks just keeps looping me back to the "Sign in to account" page.  I know I'm entering the correct credentials.

Let me get the help you need to ensure that you'd able to connect your credit card (24-7cardaccess) account.

 

To start, I recommend accessing your account in a Private browsing window first to verify if this is caused by the system or your browser.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts that will help you accomplish this in all supported browsers:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift +N

Once able to open a private browser, try to connect bank account again by following these steps:

  1. From the left menu, select Banking, then Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Add Account.
  3. In the Search field, enter the bank's URL (example: http://www.chase.com).
  4. Select your bank. If you see multiple options, you may have to repeat these steps to find the correct one.
  5. Enter your bank login on your bank's website, then select Continue.

I'm having the same trouble in a Private Browsing window.  I go to add account, I enter www.24-7cardaccess.com, and choose the only suggestion that appears underneath:  

24-7cardaccess.com

www.24-7cardaccess.com

 

I'm then directed to the "Sign in to account" page where I enter my user name and password and I click continue.  I verify through Captcha that I'm not a robot, the screen briefly displays "Connecting to 24-7cardaccess.com ..." and then it returns to the "Sign in to account" page with my user name already in the field, but the password field is blank.  If I enter my password again and click continue it just keeps looping back to the sign in page.
