I can no longer edit the PRODUCT/SERVICE field when editing an invoice. When you click a row it switches to editable text boxes for every field EXCEPT the product/service field which does not show a text box at all and is just blank. This only recently started happening. Any way to fix it?

First off, I appreciate the efforts that you've put into this. As of the moment, the feature that you are trying to access in QuickBooks Online (QBO) is unavailable. If you want to change the name of the item that you've added to your invoice, you'll have to go to the Product and Services tab. It is not possible to edit an item name in the created invoice. It'll prompt you to create a new item if you attempt to change it on the invoice page. To begin, here's how:

What are you talking about? This has always been a feature. I was editing invoices as recently as 2 weeks ago without problem and changing the PRODUCT/SERVICE which would then automatically adjust the description and cost. So no, I don't need to suggest this to the dev team as an new feature for a future update because it was always a feature and only recently stopped working.
Can you confirm that this functionality was intentionally removed by QB and is not just a problem on my end?
Allow me to step in and clarify this, Justin.
The feature is still there. We can still change the item in the PRODUCT/SERVICE field. I've checked if there is an issue, but I haven't found one, so you may just be experiencing browser-related issues.
If you haven't already, you can sign in to QuickBooks using a private browser. This step disables its extensions and stops the cache from saving your browsing history.
If you can change the items on your invoice, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If not, please try other browsers to see if we get the same thing or contact our QBO Support to investigate this further. They can use more tools on their end.
