Invoices won't send: Error "Oops, something went wrong. Maybe try again later."

I just signed up for QB online, self-employment, and every time I attempt to send an invoice I receive the error: "Oops, something went wrong. Maybe try again later." How do I troubleshoot this?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I want to make sure you'll be able to send your invoices successfully.

 

We haven't received similar cases about this error when sending invoices. To isolate this, let's try performing some basic troubleshooting steps to better isolate this issue. Try using a private window to see if you'll get the same error message.

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P 
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N 

If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Once done, you can restart your browser.

 

If the error persist, you can get in touch with our Care Support Team so we can add your name and email address to the affected users' list.

 

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help at the top right.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live agent.
  4. Enter your concern.
  5. Click the Green Phone button to get the phone number.
