Join nowEvery time I try to write a cheque in QB a popup appears asking if I want to check for unpaid bills instead of writing my cheque. It's a bit annoying. Is there a way to disable this feature? I've looked in preferences and I don't see that option. I'm using desktop pro. Thanks for any assistance.

Let me share some information about entering checks in QuickBooks Desktop, @AllHaul.
One way of paying existing bills is through a check. When you're about to write check for a vendor with existing bills, the system automatically displays the Check for Bills window.
Removing the pop-up is currently unavailable. However, you can click on the Write you check tab to record a new vendor check.
I know how seamless it would be to disable to pop-up window from the Check page. Rest assured our engineers are continuing to develop QuickBooks to deliver the best experiences to all of our customers. Hopefully, they can consider this feature in the coming updates. Thanks for the quick reply. That's a shame that I can't disable that feature but I look forward to that update in the future.
