I'll share some information on how transferring money between accounts works in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
Could you please let me know if there was a specific error message you encountered while transferring money to the two accounts? Any screenshots or further details would be greatly appreciated.
Please know that QBSE automatically downloads transactions, but it may not always categorize them correctly. When you move money between accounts, you'll see two transactions: a withdrawal from one account and a deposit into the other. You need to categorize both of these as Transfers to keep your accounting accurate.

Also, ensure that both the "Savings" and "Main" bank accounts are linked correctly to your QBSE. To check if either bank account is missing or not properly synchronized, you can click the Gear icon and select Manage accounts to see your bank accounts.
