Memo on Pay Bill - I want the same memo as the bill



I used to use QB for windows and there was a way to automatically have the same memo of the bill on the check when you pay using the "Pay Bill" option. On Mac, it automatically writes the account number in the memo and I don't want that. Can anybody help?

I can share some information about the account number when using the Pay bill feature, @Esthy09.


By default, QuickBooks will automatically add the account number to the Memo field on each bill payment check that goes to your vendor. However, you can always enter any information that you want to print in the Memo field on checks that you'll be sending to them.


I can see the importance where you can choose to set it automatically or not. That would be a great addition to the current features that we have. For now, you can visit the Firm of the Future site. It contains resources and tips to help easily use QuickBooks.
