I am unable to align my QB preprinted checks to enable check printing in QB. I have tried the check set up steps but and attempted to align according to the help menu but when the checks print they do not align to the preprinted check forms. I'm using standard checks (3 to a page) and even if I can get the top entry to fit the check by the time the third check has printed it is off alignment and not fitting the form.
Very frustrating and I'm at my wits end. The help line couldn't even get it to work right. Any input on solutions?

No, this did not fix my problem. The spacing on the QuickBooks check printing template is off and does not print my checks correctly on a page. The checks get further apart as they are printed and fall outside the places on the pre-printed checks where the information is supposed to be printed. Very frustrating because I have tried everything and even spoken to a help support person for over twenty minutes trying to make this work.
Hey there again, jerry92103.
I appreciate you following the steps necessary to resolve the printing issue. Now let’s try some new steps to help save time while running your business.
To determine if this is a browser-related issue, you'll need to use a private browser or
Chrome’s incognito window. This is a feature in the web which allows you to browse without storing any data history.
Depending on the browser you're using, refer to these keyboard shortcuts:
If this works well, clear your browser's cache to boost the performance of QBO. Check out this link for the detailed instructions: How do I clear temporary internet files and cache?
Most printing problems in QuickBooks Online can be resolved by updating Adobe Acrobat/Reader to the latest version. You can refer to the Update, repair, or reinstall Adobe Reader/Acrobat article for the step by step process.
If none of these steps work, I recommend you get in touch with our QuickBooks Online Customer Care Team. They have the tools to trace where the issue is stemming from.
Upon giving them a call, I’m confident you’re back on track with printing checks.
Feel free to let me know if you have additional questions about working in QuickBooks. I'm always around to answer them for your. Wishing you the best.
I started having the same issue with checks not aligning Friday, Oct 5th. They had printed fine on Thursday night. If I get the top aligned, the bottom of the voucher checks does not line up. Likewise, the check amounts in my deposit slip no longer line up with the boxes. I have adjusted the alignment to at least get the tops of the checks to be usable, but then everything else is off. I have tried running from an incognito window and I've checked to make sure I have the latest Adobe version. Nothing works. Very frustrating! Any thoughts?
Hey there, mfa.
I want to ensure your voucher checks are properly aligned when printing.
I have another suggestion that you can try to resolve the issue. Switching to a different browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox will determine if the root cause is browser-related.
We want to take the load off of you and help you manage your business with ease. If you get the same result, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team.
They have the tools to look into your printer setup and make sure you’re back on track with printing checks.

Be sure to let me know if you have concerns about working in QuickBooks. I'll be glad to assist you further. Have a good one.
I'm having the same issue, and I'm extremely frustrated that QB online cannot print checks correctly. It's crazy that only the Amount field can be adjusted. But mine is still almost an inch too low for the checks I've always used in QB Desktop.
Hi there, jeffbruning.
Thanks for joining this thread and letting me know about the problem you're having with aligning checks in QuickBooks Online. I want to make sure you're able to get these checks printed correctly.
To get your checks to align, you may want to try out the steps listed above to clear the cache and then adjust once more.
This link will take you to the checks that are available to use within QuickBooks Online: https://intuitmarket.intuit.com/?track=55000&src=mainnav.
If you're still having problems once you've completed the previous steps, I recommend contacting the QBO Support Team. Agents have the necessary tools, like screen-sharing, to take a look and determine what's causing the problem. The number to speak with an agent is 1-800-488-7330 and the most up-to-date contact information can be found here: https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
This should get your checks looking the way you'd like, but feel free to let me know how things are afterward. Should you need any further info, please don't hesitate to contact me.
I am very frustrated about this. I purchased new checks because the QB web site said that the checks I had (standard in a binder) could only be printed using QB Desktop. So I purchased new standard checks from the website. However, the checks I purchased were the exact same layout as the checks I had and would still not print properly. Tis is not just disappointing but also deceptive practice.
Thanks for taking the time to let me know about this situation and the conversation you had with the Help Team. I want to make sure you get the support you deserve.
To review refund options regarding the checks, you'll need to speak with a member of the Checks & Supplies Support Team. The number to get in touch with an agent in this group is 866-570-3842 and all other contact information can be found here: https://intuitmarket.intuit.com/?track=55000&src=mainnav.
You know where to find me if there's anything else I can assist with. Take care.
