Online Payment options turns off for imported invoices

You're already on the right track for turning on the online payment option for imported invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @SlimBB237. Let me share further details about this.

For the time being, the online payments option is limited to the invoices you've created in QBO. It'll automatically turn off for the ones you've imported into the system. You'll have to manually pull up every single invoice to turn on the online payments option. Here's how:

  1. Open the invoice
  2. Under Online Payments, select Edit
  3. Select your desired payment options. You can also clear unwanted payment options.
  4. When you're finished, select OK.

After that, you're set to send your invoices to the appropriate customer. You can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Create and send invoices in QuickBooks Online. Then, I encourage you to pull up the Invoices and Receive Payments report. This way, you can effectively monitor the payments you've received and the invoices that go with them. Just go to the Who owes you section from the Reports menu's Standard tab.

Also, you're able to create attractive and professional-looking invoices in QBO. With this, you can personalize and add specific info that matters most to your business. To know more about this process, you can check out this article: Customize invoices in QuickBooks Online.

I'm only a comment away if you need further assistance in managing your imported invoices and utilizing online payments in QBO. Take care and stay safe.

Online Payment options turns off for imported invoices

Thanks for your response.

Another issue I faced was with customers' email from imported invoices. Some don't get picked up after the import from the customer's records on QBO. I have to manually re-enter before sending out the invoices. I don't know where i'm missing out on this as well. Thanks.

You can enable/disable the payment options when importing it by an importer tool. You don't have to change it manually.
