Turn off Payments by Intuit? Stop it from reminding me and trying to force bill pay online.

We pay by handwritten check or using our banking bill pay Wells Fargo). The use of Intuit Bill Pay is not needed and it is trying to cause payments on Bills I created but will pay via means noted above. I do use Intuit Assisted Payroll. This is QuickBooks Desktop 2017 Pro Plus. NOT Online versiom.

Hi there, @bwwiggins.

Thank you for taking the time posting in the Community. I'd be happy to guide you on how to turn off the alert about trying the Bill pay online feature.

You can turn off pop-up notifications by resetting your preferences on QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

  1. At the top menu, select Edit.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. In the Preferences window, select General on the left pane.
  4. Click the My Preferences tab.
  5. Check the box Turn off pop-up messages for products and services.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Restart QuickBooks and sign in as the same user.

These resources should help to get you back on track, and the pop-up notifications will no longer appear.

Also, for additional help, the phone support agents will be able to assist you in getting this resolved.

Here's how:

  1. Go to https://help.quickbooks.intuit.com/en_US/contact.
  2. At the top right, select your QuickBooks version.
  3. Select a topic.
  4. Click on the Get Phone Number or Start a Message button.

I'm just a post away if you should have any questions. Have a great rest of your week.
