I would like to pay for my annual payroll subscription now so we do not run into an issue in October since our CC expires the same month.

QuickBooks will automatically take the funds based on the billing due date in the system. Thus you won't have to pay the annual subscription at the moment.
To avoid issues with your subscription, I suggest updating your billing information by logging in to your QuickBooks Payroll Account Maintenance page.
