Printing Bill Payment Stubs

Recently the template for Bill Payment Stub changed in my software.  It is now printing my company name, then my city state and zip, then my street address.  I read other comments saying that the template cannot be edited.  What happened?  It was fine earlier this year and prior to that, something changed it within the last couple months.??

Printing Bill Payment Stubs

Welcome to the Community, 62230.

I can share some details about the bill payment stubs.

You're right. The template for bill payment stubs in QuickBooks Desktop can't be edited. While I'm not sure why it suddenly changes on your end, I have some troubleshooting to share so we can fix it.

We usually recommend repairing QuickBooks Desktop to resolve any performance issues you encounter while using QuickBooks Desktop.

  1. Restart your computer to close unnecessary programs interfering with QuickBooks.
  2. Back up your QuickBooks company file.
  3. Select Start and then Control Panel.
  4. Choose Programs and Features. Then, select Uninstall a program.
  5. Select QuickBooks in the list of programs and choose Uninstall/Change.
  6. Choose Continue, then, Next.
  7. Select Repair then Next. Wait for the Repair to complete.
  8. Choose Finish,  then restart your computer if prompted.
  9. Lastly, download the latest QuickBooks release when you open QuickBooks.

Here's an article for more insights: Repair QuickBooks Desktop.

Then, try printing a bill payment stub.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Click File at the top menu bar.
  2. Under Print Forms, select Bill Payment Stubs.
  3. Select OK.

That information should get you on the right track. Let me know the results after trying the steps above. I'm always here to provide additional assistance if you need anything else. Have a good one.
