printing invoices to show paid.

No matter how many times I save my invoice It will not show "paid" when printed or print all data I entered onto it even though it show paid and all data I've entered onto the invoice in the print preview section. Why??? 

 

They paid with a check and I already did that part of it.  Also in the top where you have p.o no. and things of that nature I put in a box for year, make, model" and "mileage". Neither bit of info is showing up on print even though other invoices have printed it.

Let's see what's happening on your invoices, Mkneitz.

 

The Paid stamp will show on the Print Preview window if you've customized the assigned invoice template. Here's how to do it within the Invoice page:

  1. Open the affected invoice and go to the Formatting tab.
  2. Select Manage Templates. This will automatically highlight the assigned invoice template.
  3. Click OK. This will open the Basic Customization window.
  4. Under the COMPANY & TRANSACTION INFORMATION section, mark the Print Status Stamp box.
  5. Click OK. It will go back to the invoice page.
  6. Go to the Main tab and preview the invoice again.

We can also do it through the Templates page. Here's how:

  1. Click Lists at the top menu and select Templates.
  2. Double-click on the invoice template you want to update.
    This will open the Basic Customization window.
  3. Under the COMPANY & TRANSACTION INFORMATION section, mark the Print Status Stamp box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Preview the invoice you want to print. Make sure it is using the correct TEMPLATE.
