I have categories set up in my Products to help sort by stage of inventory. When I create a Purchase Order, the categories show up in my "Activity" description. How can my Purchase Order just display the product I want to order from my vendor?

Thanks for the reply. I tried that, and had category unchecked but it still displays.
When I create a PO, under Item Details, and Products/Service, the Product as well as the Category display. I only want to see Category when I look at the Products page to be able to filter based on the stage the product is in. Is there a way to make that happen?
Currently, we're unable to customize the Purchase Order template that way. I can send a product suggestion directly to our engineers on your behalf. They can consider this feature added in the future updates.

I guess I am confused on what Product Categories are used for. I thought they were strictly an internal organization use to filter my products. I never intended them to be forward facing for either my customers or vendors. So there is no way to leave them active for me to filter, but not display on Purchase Orders or Invoices?

Let me help share additional information about Product categories.
Currently, the system is design that when creating a transaction using the product with the category assigned, the product name that will show up under the Activity column will be the category: product name. This happens because the product is associated with the category.
I understand how this particular functionality would be useful in the system. Please know that I’m taking note of your feedback and passing it along here on my end. Need not to worry, I will forward this request to our product engineers, so that this may be considered for future upgrades.
