QBO price increase - again :-(

Just got my annual notification of QBO price increase - like clockwork, prices raised 10%+ every year since I started using it. Is this going to happen forever? It's not sustainable. I also got a price change for Live Experts, a 33% increase. Seriously Intuit, cut us a break!

QBO price increase - again :-(

Thanks for choosing QuickBooks as a part of your business journey, @DT_BD.

I'll lay down some significant information regarding the notification you've received about QuickBooks pricing.

Starting on or after August 1, 2024, the subscription prices for QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, and Advanced will be updated.

If you signed up for your subscription after February 1, 2024, your current price is guaranteed for six months from the start of your subscription. After that, your price may change.

However, if you're currently enjoying a promotional discount, your price will remain the same until the end of the promotion. Once the promotion ends, your monthly subscription rate will be adjusted to match the new price.

For more additional information about the price increase, I've included these resources:

@Sherrie_F  RE: I'll lay down some significant information regarding the notification you've received about QuickBooks pricing.

Well, that sounded like a good start, if not really weird and 1970s. But then you didn't actually lay down any significant information.  Did you forget to copy/paste that part of your response?

Well that explains it. They wanted 15% and the shareholders demanded it, on the backs of us working stiffs.

That explains it. The shareholders demanded 15%. Put it on the ones who work for a living.
