Quickbooks Desktop Pay Online Email Link

Hi,

I send my invoices through email from Quickbooks desktop. When I click the link Quickbooks creates it brings me to the payment webpage with the correct payment amount and invoice number but the webpage has button that says "View Invoice" and when I click it, a popup shows up that says "We couldn't load the invoice." Is that an error with something I am doing or an error with the Quickbooks system?

Also is it possible to generate the link to that webpage without opening the invoice in Quickbooks and clicking "Email -> Invoice"? Thank you

Welcome to the Community, Ryan Be.

I'm here to ensure that you can view invoice through the QuickBooks Desktop webpage.

First, you'll need to make sure to update QuickBooks Desktop to the latest release. This way, all information syncs properly to the webpage. Here are latest available release for each versions:

Also, if you're having trouble with your PDF viewer, I suggest checking out this article: Troubleshoot PDF and Print problems with QuickBooks Desktop. It provides troubleshooting steps to fix common PDF errors.

I'm also adding this link to learn how to verify that an invoice was emailed and read by recipient.

Reach out to me if you still require any additional assistance about invoices. I've got you covered. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you for the reply. I updated to the latest version and still have the same issue. I attached a pdf that may help explain the issue better. The first page is a snip of the webpage the link brings you to. This is the link generated by Quickbooks when you email an invoice from within Quickbooks. When you click the "View Invoice" button you get the error shown on the second page of the pdf. This has been going on for a couple months now.

Quickbooks Desktop Pay Online Email Link

Thanks Madelyn. I do not have any issues creating a pdf invoice. I normally pdf the invoice and attach it to an email to the client with the pay online link. My issue was just the error received from clicking "view invoice" on the webpage from the pay online link.
