Quickbooks desktop to online conversion credit card numbers

Hello,

We are planning on switching from Quickbooks desktop to Quickbooks online at the turn of the year. Does anyone know if the Credit Card numbers that are stored with desktop will be converted to the online system? Or will we need to collect them again?

Thank you, MOnica.

Quickbooks desktop to online conversion credit card numbers

Customer credit card information will NOT transfer from desktop to online. It will all hace to be entered fresh. If you can print or save to excel the current card info that will be your first step. There are other steps not so apparent.  If younuse QB Payments younmusrt unlink the account from your desktop company and relink aftet conversion. Here is the resource on what will and will not convert. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/convert-data-files/what-to-expect-when-you-switch-...
