"changed the transaction, do you want to record the change' Won't let me actually change the transaction
I entered an amount as a "placeholder" as a deposit. Now it is time to actually record the payment as the customer wanted to pay by cc. Processed the cc payment. Now the system won't let me change the transaction, or record the change. It is not showing the credit card receipt. What can I do?
Did you process the credit card as a sales receipt? Can you also tell me if you processed through QuickBooks or the Merchant Service Center? I'm trying to identify how that payment was captured to understand why it's not allowing to be recorded.
