Where can you find the customer credit card authorization form for recurring credit card payments

Hello,

If you go to a sales receipt, select a customer and select CHECK as the payment method. You'll then get a form you can send to your customer as a PDF.  The form is only for ACH recurring but if you want one for credit cards you can find them online.  I've attached a PDF of one to this reply.

I don't see the PDF attachment you mentioned. Can you share it again?

Where can you find the customer credit card authorization form for recurring credit card payments

Hi there, dlambros.

I'll give you the link to get a credit card authorization form for your customer.

Please follow the steps and download the form from Merchant Service via this link: https://merchantcenter.intuit.com/wapweblet/ims-mp-help/en/qbms/svc_mp_explain_auth.html

Just let me know if you need more help.

Where can you find the customer credit card authorization form for recurring credit card payments

I also need to be able to send a credit card authorization form (in this case for AmEx) to a customer for a recurring charge.  So far, all the instructions have either lead to an "authorization form" link that isn't appearing on the web version of Quickbooks, or would require me to already have the customer's credit card information (cart before the horse situation).

Is there an authorization form that I can send to my client, specifically AmEx, that will also collect from them their number for me to then input into the screen for creating a repeating invoice/sale to my client?

My client and I are remote from each other, so sending the authorization form is also how I'll get the client's cc number. I can't create the template for the sale and then send the authorization form, because that assumes I already have their cc number.

The link shared by GlinetteC shows how you can get the authorization form, DebAC.

Although, I'd also suggest reaching out to our Payments support. They might give you another way of how you can download  the form so you can send it to your customers. Just open this link, and get the number under QuickBooks Online with Payments & Merchant Service Center

I'll also share the reference on how to set up a recurring sales receipt. This will also show you a way of generating the authorization form after adding the credit card info and saving the template.
