How do I prepare for eBay Managed Payments?

Thanks for posting in the Community, @gtwoodbr

It looks like you have an existing eBay integration with QuickBooks Online (QBO). It also shows they've just released their new payment service, Managed Payments. Thus, I'd suggest contacting their dedicated support team to help you prepare for this. They can provide further details about the benefits when using it and the changes to your QBO syncing process.

As always, I recommend going to your My Apps tab from the Apps menu. You can launch, support, disconnect, or leave an app's review from there, such as eBay. View the screenshot below for your reference. For more details, visit this article: Managing Apps

I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Keep safe always, @gtwoodbr

How do I prepare for eBay Managed Payments?

Hi there, @BlackRoseSkulls.

Currently, the integration of eBay with QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is unavailable. As a workaround, you can add your income and expense manually or import it through CSV file in QuickBooks.

Here's how to manually add new transactions:

  1. Go to the Transaction menu and select Add Transaction.
  2. Enter the amount and a description.
  3. Select the Select a category menu. Choose the best category to organize your transaction.
  4. If you have a receipt, you can drag and drop it onto the form.
  5. When you’re done, click Save.

To import CSV file to QBSE, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Profile icon and select Imports.
  2. Click Import transactions.
  3. Follow the onscreen steps to upload the CSV file.
  4. Hit Import.

Also, I've got you this helpful article in case you need some ideas in managing your books with QuickBooks Self-Employed: QBSE Help articles.
