Hi there, @bill67,
QuickBooks use in-product pop-ups and ads to help optimize your QuickBooks experience by trying out new features and program updates.
We currently don't have the option to disable these promotions permanently. In the meantime, you can simply turn it off by clicking the X button (if available) or enabling your browser pop-up blockers.
I know how beneficial it is to have this ability in the program to have a swift navigation. While this is still unavailable, I'm making it my top priority to relay this suggestion to the Development Team.
Stay on top of our product updates and feature releases by visiting the QuickBooks Blog: Intuit Blog.
If you have other questions or clarifications, feel free to reach out back to me. I'm always here to provide further assistance with anything QuickBooks related. Have a wonderful and productive week ahead!
You can't turn it off. When you are in the middle of sending an invoice using a service you pay 90 to 300 dollars for (if using bookkeeping), they still want to offer you a low interest loan at the amazing rate of 35% or whatever. When you go to click "save and send" the button now says "save and fund" and if you don't catch yourself in time, you've just triggered a few emails and a new screen trying to sell you a loan.
It's an outrage frankly and it's why I recommend to all my friends starting businesses and registering new LLCs to AVOID QUICKBOOKS. Don't get invested in bookkeeping with this scam company.
I agree that this is overreach by Intuit. I was taken last year by the subtle transition from 50 cent fees for Quickbooks payments to 1% of the transaction amount!!! Now they're going for 3%??? WTF!!
