NOT attaching the invoice pdf to the email

I want to turn off the option of attaching the invoice pdf to the invoice email.  This way the end user needs to actually click on the link for the invoice, which in turn tells me when the invoice has been reviewed.  I turned this off once, then after an update they are now attaching again, and I cannot locate how to turn this option off.

NOT attaching the invoice pdf to the email

Hello @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting your question in the Community. I'd be glad to help with not attaching the invoice PDF to the email.

I can see why you'd want to know when the user has reviewed the invoice and not have a PDF attachment. Here's how you can turn off this feature:

  1. Select the Gear icon and click Account and Settings.
  2. Choose Sales on the left panel.
  3. Navigate to the Online delivery section and click the Pencil icon.
  4. Uncheck PDF attached.
  5. Select Save and click Done.

The following is a brief video to serve as a visual reference:

Additionally, I recommend the following article, which covers the different email options that are available: Email Sales Forms Directly To Your Customers From QuickBooks Online.

That's got it. I'm sure you'll have the PDF attachment feature disabled in a few clicks.

The Community always has your back, so please don't hesitate to let me know if I can be of further assistance. Cheering you to continued prosperity in 2019.
