It looks like we have to disconnect and reconnect the account to apply the new changes and resolve your concern.
First, here's how to disconnect the account:
- Click Accounting, then go to the Chart of Accounts tab.
- Select the bank account, click the View register drop-down arrow, then choose Edit.
- Tick the Disconnect this account on save box.
Click Save and Close.
Then, connect the bank account.
Once done, transactions will be downloaded automatically. Then, you can categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.
