sales receipts

In QB online, I am having issues getting the sales receipt template to work for a receipt printer vs. a standard 8.5x11 piece of paper.

In QB desktop Pro, I would select, make a sale, enter item numbers, enter payment info, then select safe and print. Don't see how to follow those steps and print on a receipt roll.

I've got you back, @MRC815.

QuickBooks Online (QBO) and QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) have different features. In QBO, you have the option to choose paper size when printing the sales receipt. Here's how:

  1. On the Sales Receipt page, click Print or Preview.
  2. In the Print preview window, select the Print icon.1.PNG
  3. Click More settings in the Print window.
  4. In the Paper size drop-down, find and select a size that works for your receipt printer.
  5. Click Print.2.PNG

However, if there isn't a paper size that is suitable for your receipt printer, I suggest looking for a third-party application that can print a sales receipt on a receipt roll.
