Hi there, lawright16.
I’m here to help sort out the tax payment warning message and get rid of it in no time.
Are you referring to your Payroll Tax Payments? QuickBooks aims to make sure you’re able to manage your accounts well. This includes notifications and reminders to make sure you can successfully record your transactions and tax payments on time.
The warning message you’re getting means there are specific taxes which need immediate action, such as deleting, or saving them. Here’s what you can do:
- Go back to the Tax Payments page.
- Instead of clicking Cancel, go to the Review Payment button.
- If this is the payment you’ve previously processed, select the Record Payment.
- Click Ok.
If you don’t need to do so, you can delete the payment right-away. Check out these steps:
- Go to Taxes in the left panel, then Payroll tax.
- Under Taxes, select View tax payments due.
- Click the name of the tax payment.
- From the drop-down, choose Delete, then Yes to confirm.
In case the program redirects you to the Payroll Tax screen after clicking the Review Payment button, you’ll want to login via a different supported browser to check if the same message will show. If it doesn’t, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache.
For the detailed steps, refer to this article:
How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?
That should do it! These steps can help remove the message and help you process a new payroll tax payment.
Feel free to update me if the Tax Payment page keeps on showing the prompt so I can report this. I'll be here for you anytime.
