Currently, the device you've mentioned is not in the list of compatible scanners with QuickBooks Desktop.
Please check the list of Twain scanners tested for compatibility within QuickBooks Desktop below.

Hello ChristieAnn,
i saw that list, however i cant believe that Quickbooks is only compatible with 13 different models. also, just got the following word, it was working fine when using Win7. apparently the computer running QB got upgraded to Win10 recently, since then the scanner is not recognized in QB. Win10 drivers are installed. any advise?
thanks
Thanks for clarifying that our for me, @andy38.
The operating system that you're currently using still meets the system requirements of your QuickBooks Desktop.
To better isolate this scanner issue, I recommend contacting your IT professional. They have the tools that can help fix and determine the root cause of this matter.

I have the same problem with QB Pro 2019. Since I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 everything works but the scan manager withing QB. I spent 5 hrs on the phone with both QB support & Microsoft. I cannot find anyone who can fix it. Can you help me?
Welcome to the Community, @JM1980.
I’m here to assist you with getting your scan manager back to working order. To ensure I provide you with the best solution, are you getting errors when trying to scan? If so, let’s do a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
If you are getting an error that says couldn’t scan or drive not found, do the following:
Note: You may also switch from wireless to wired, then reinstall the scanner. By doing this, it fixes issues directly from the scanner.
Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with. Take care.
hi JM1980.
is your Scanner connected via LAN? if so (and if possible) try to connect the printer/scanner via USB. that did the trick for me. even QB Support says that my Brother MFC is not on the 'Compatible' list, it was working fine on Win7 connected via LAN. once i upgraded to 10, the printer/scanner was fine within Windows but i was unable to scan in QB Scan manager. i then tried USB and its working since. its not the solution i wanted but it least i got it up and running. didnt find a solution on how to get it to work via LAN yet.
hope that helps
