Set up credit card processing

I am trying to set up credit card processing and whenever I attempt to press the button on any drop down or the home screen, nothing happens. Any help?

For me to give you the right amount of information, are you trying to set up credit accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), or QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)?

 

If you're setting up credit card accounts for payment processing in QBO and nothing happens on the screen when attempting to press the button on any drop-down or home screen, you can start by logging in your account using a private browser and clear the cache of your regular browser. This helps determine if the this is a browser and cache related issue.

 

To access your account using a private browser, you can use either of the following shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome, press CTRL  Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL  Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press CTRL  Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift N

If it works fine using a private browser and able to set up the credit card from there, access your account using the original browser and clear the browser's cache. In addition, logging in your account to another supported browser can also help narrow down the cause of this unexpected behavior.

 

Also, please ensure that the pop-up blocker is disabled.

Thank you for your detailed response. I have done the repair successfully - however the option for accept credit cards still does nothing....?
