I have different services that are always either invoiced (to third parties) or paid on the spot (depending on the service).
Can i set different products and services to either automatically create an invoice (for later payment) or create a sales receipt (as they will be paid at time of service)?

You can schedule recurring sales receipts and invoices for your regular customers so you don't have to create one every time. Before diving in, please make sure that you're done setting up the product and service items you sell. When you're ready, follow these steps to be guided in creating a recurring template:
