Setting up multiple payment terms in an invoice.

When creating an invoice, I want to setup multiple payment terms, I can see only one field to select the term. please find below example terms for one invoice:

1. 20% advance payment

2. 40% on delivery

3. 40% 30 days after delivery.

Setting up multiple payment terms in an invoice.

Hello Megan-Payorcrm,

The only way you could do something like that would be to break each amount into it's own invoice. Your customer can't pay anything less or more than the invoice amount with QuickBooks Merchant Services.

Let me know if you need some more info.

Do you reward people who pay you early? If so, how?

Setting up multiple payment terms in an invoice.

Hi there, ajuma.

I'd be glad to ensure your questions about these terms are answered.

In QuickBooks Online, one term can be selected per invoice. I did some research and was able to find a way to record the early pay discount manually, recommended by a CPA in the Online Community:  https://community.intuit.com/questions/1589962.

You can send a feature request to the engineers letting them know you'd like the ability to apply multiple terms here: http://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/. This is where they go to find the most requested features, and talk about possibly implementing them in future updates.

If you have any further questions, I invite you to reply back so I can help.
