SHut off credit card processing

I tried the credit card processing and woul like to return to using square (less expensive due to 30 cents per transactions charge.  How can I return to how it was before I completed the "Accept credit cards "   I want to  use the credit card payment  feature to label my square pmts,  but it automatically expects me to use the QB credit card function.

Hello there, Maverick1876.


If you've processed transactions in the past 90 days, you'll have to contact QuickBooks Desktop Payments support so an agent can cancel it for you. 


If you haven't processed anything yet, you'll have to write a cancellation request. Then, fax or mail it to us.


These information is required in your request:

  • Business name
  • Account number
  • Reason for closing
  • Signature of the individual who opened the account

Check this link on where you can fax or mail the request:


Once it's cancelled, you can go back using your square payments.
