So, how is everyone feeling about the removal of PayPAL?

This reminds me why I moved away from QB way back in the day. It appears that they always want their internal controlled and paid ecosystem to be the only one in place. To not allow any other players. Similar to what Microsoft does. Great companies hell bent on keeping all the money.

Hope this works out well for everyone. I am sad that I will now have to manually work with the few clients that want to continue using PayPAL. Not a huge issue; but just another limitation.

Cheers,
T

Hello there, TIMORLANG,

I can see how beneficial it is to accept PayPal payments from your clients. Rest assured that I'll forward your feedback to our Product Development Team. They can consider this for future releases.

As a suggestion, you can have your clients use credit cards, debit cards, or ACH bank transfers. This way, you'll get paid timely. For more details, check out this article: QuickBooks Payments Overview

Additionally, I recommend visiting this website: Get Paid Faster With QuickBooks Invoicing. This link provides you more details about tracking your invoices and how the program auto matches your bank transactions. It also contains articles on how to build customer trust and customize your invoice styles.

Please know that you're always welcome to leave a comment below if you have other concerns. I'll gladly help, TIMORLANG.

Thank you very much for the option. It just gives me pause as now I have to include another brokering / connecting system to manage. When this has worked for years in QB. I have used Quickbooks on and off for likely since the product first came on the scene. But occasionally I leave because of such short sighted decisions. I hope that I am at least able to continue accessing my account part of PayPAL via quickbooks; or this return maybe very short lived before it even really started.

And of course, both PayPAL and QB are premium and have to purchase yet another solution on a monthly bases to integrate. At this rate, you are pushing all small businesses out of your platform. I understand that we do not generate that much revenue for you.

Thanks for the help. But it is not an option.

I hear and appreciate your feedback about the Paypal discontinuation, @TIMORLANG,

While our Payments Team recently discontinued the PayPal Beta integration, they are also proposing the new beta program for PayPal on e-Invoices.

This is where you can send invoices and allow your customers the option to pay you through their PayPal account. See this article for more information: PayPal on e-Invoices FAQs

You can also check our apps website for more options to bring in your Paypal transactions into QBO. Once you're connected, you'll be able to import the data into QBO efficiently. Click this link to our website: Paypal Apps.

I would also relay your insights to our developers letting them know that you like the old Paypal connection.

Please update this thread by adding the information in the comment section below. I'll be more than glad to provide further help any time.
