I am working for a client who has a large amount of the 3-up standard checks for QB. I am new to this client and I spent an enormous amount of time yesterday HAND WRITING checks and ENVELOPES for the client. The client and I discussed how to stop duplicating work, he has the standard 3-up checks that can be printed. My question is, how do print one check? Let's say you use 2 of the 3 checks on the page and you have one left; how do you use that one check? I have searched and cannot find instructions. It seems silly to assume that QB would make a program where you could ONLY print checks in quantities of 3 but you never know. I would like to have an idea before I go back to the client's to pay his bills. I have generally used the voucher checks so this is unfamiliar to me. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated!

First, I'd like to acknowledge your effort in sharing very detailed information about your concern. You'll need to set up your QuickBooks print check settings so you'll be able to print only one (1) voucher check.
Let me walk you through the steps:
Click Print Forms.
On the Check Style option, select Voucher.
Select One button on the Check on first page options.
For additional reference, you can check this article for different topics in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac. On your keyboard press Ctrl + F and search for any topic to easily find the information. Just click this link, then select Download: Intuit QuickBooks for Mac Little Square.
