I’m here to walk you through the steps for storing the customer’s credit card information in QuickBooks Online.
You can add the payment and billing details under the customer’s profile. Here's how:
- Go to the Sales menu and select Customers.
- Select the customer from the list.
- Click Edit in the upper right hand of the screen.
- Choose the Payment and Billing tab.
- Pick your Preferred payment method and click the Enter credit card details button.
- Enter the credit card information.
- Hit Save, then Save again on the Payment and Billing tab.
After saving the entry, you can only view the last 4 digits of the card number. For more information, refer to this article: Edit a customer’s credit card information.
