The "Add Job" option availability in the full version of Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2021

Is the "Add Job" option available in the full version of QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2021?

 

I just downloaded the free 30-day trail version of QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2021 and noticed that I cannot add any jobs. I see a notification saying "This operation is not available because it has been disabled."

If it appears to be disabled, because it is a trail, then I will purchase the full product. But I would first like to make sure that I will have this option available in the full product.

Welcome to the Community, Malendy!

 

Yes, Jobs are available in all QuickBooks Desktop version. When adding one, you'll just have to go to the Customer Center. Let me show you how:

 

  1. From the Customers menu, select Customer Center.
  2. At the top menu, of the Customer Center window, click the New Customer & Job drop-down.
  3. Select Add Job.
  4. Enter the job's information and then click OK.

Now the job is under the customer you associated with it. To keep track of your jobs, you can check out this page: Tracking job costs in QuickBooks Desktop.
