There have been several times when QB does not recognize a debit/credit if there are two debits/credits for the same amount on the same day. What do I do?

Thanks for reaching out to us, @branden1.

Connectivity issues and data transmission interruption are the reasons behind the incorrect download of transactions. When this happens, I recommend excluding then importing or manually adding them to QuickBooks Online.

Here's how to remove those entries from the For Review tab:

  1. From the Banking menu, go to the For Review section.
  2. Select all the incorrect transactions.
  3. Click the Batch actions drop-down and pick Exclude Selected

These transactions will still show on the Excluded tab for reference or review but are not tracked or reported as part of your business. Take a look at this article to know more: Exclude expenses from downloaded bank transactions.

Once done, you can redownload or manually add the entries with the right information.
