Undeposited Fund and Petty Cash

Hello,

I have cash payments received from FieldEdge directly to Undeposited Fund (Bank Dposit) in Quickbooks Online.

I would like to deposit those payments to Petty Cash. On the Bank Deposit page do I choose Petty Cash as Bank Account and Date on the top, then transaction and Save it? Or, I have to choose Petty Cash also on the bottom of the Bank Deposit page (Cash Goes Back To)?

Hello,

You choose PETTY CASH at the top of the screen. That is the field where QuickBooks is asking WHERE to put the money into. From the Bank Deposit screen, it's already looking in undeposited funds. Just checkmark any payments you want to move to Petty Cash and click SAVE.
