Used card reader for the first time& finished setting it up on QB to receive payment like email instructed. Have proof of payment accepted but no payment shows up. ???

Had an employee take payment with card reader because the customer didnt want to give card info when they booked. It was the first time we had used the card reader and it shows on employees side that payment went through but we hadnt seen it pop up in QB. We got this email about finishing setting up so we can get paid. So I did that but still nothing. I am wondering if its too soon or if something happened??

Hi there, @scarrobbins-brig.

I understand how crucial it is for your company to get paid, especially at this time. I'll chime in this thread to bring you information about undeposited payments from a credit card.

Customers and their clients can easily view payment and tip amounts on the LED display of the QuickBooks card reader. Customers can verify tips and totals using sensors located directly on the display.

If you already own a card reader and need to purchase another one. We suggest ordering via the GoPayment app if you're a first-time user. Within 4 to 7 business days, your card reader should arrive.

Moreover, your first month's ACH payments will take a little longer if you're new to QuickBooks Payments. For the first one to four weeks, while we get everything set up, you'll receive your payments within five days. When everything is ready, we'll send you an email to let you know that your payments will proceed normally. Check out this article for your reference: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

If the issue continues, I'd suggest contacting our Merchant Services Team. They can pull up your account and check the status of your deposit. Click this link to get out contact info: Contact Payments Support

Alternatively, you can try a few troubleshooting methods in fixing issues with the GoPayment and QuickBooks mobile app card reader. It also contains the step-by-step process of connecting your reader.

I'll be available if you have additional inquiries about payments or other issues with the QBO procedures. Please submit your comments below. Have a wonderful day.
