Using Desktop Enterprise's Advanced Pricing with Point of Sale possible?

Hi Everyone,

I'm a new posted and long time lurker and just keep posting questions!

We use QB Desktop Enterprise as we manufacture products, sell them to contractors like a retail site, and have multiple retail sites to sell the products.  Because we sell to contractors, we also use the Advanced Pricing feature to give each contractor their own special pricing.

We use the normal sales receipts and invoicing as our "Point of Sale," but it's not quite as user friendly as we would like and is prone to certain errors (any user can change terms, sales tax, deposit to account, etc.).

We are hoping that there is a way to use something like Point of Sale but still also use the Advanced Pricing feature with it.  Is this possible?  Or is there another solution that I'm not seeing?

Thanks again,

JB

Using Desktop Enterprise's Advanced Pricing with Point of Sale possible?

Hello there Michael Scott Protégé,

I’m here to share some insights about using Desktop Enterprise (Advanced Pricing) with Point of Sale (POS).

I have good news! You can use Enterprise (Advanced Pricing) with POS.

Just a friendly reminder, when using POS, the inventory from Enterprise will be transferred to POS. Also, anything related to inventory from Enterprise will be disabled and will now be managed by the POS.

You’ll want to check the Financial Exchange Overview article. This will guide you on how to share information between the two programs.

That should work for you. If you have other questions about Enterprise and POS, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to help. Have a good day!
