Simply open the recurring sales receipt and click the credit card button below the Payment method section. Example: Visa xxxxxx8548. Then, click the pencil icon to edit the details. That will do it.

Having a reminder for cards about to expire is a great option. However, this is not available.

Consider having a billing management app to integrate with your QBO. It has the functionality to allow a subscriber to securely update their payment information online. It also reminds the subscriber to update their expiring credit cards automatically.
