When a customer pays ach bank transfer, how long before we see it in our account?

ACH bank transfers typically take 1-2 business days to process, atdpinc. However, the exact time frame can vary based on the banks involved and other factors such as holidays or weekends. I'll provide additional information for your complete reference.

Standard deposits are processed every day except Sundays, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Instant Deposits are processed every day without exception. Credit card payments have their own deposit schedule. If payments are processed before 3 PM PT, expect deposits in your bank account within 2 business days. If processed after 3 PM PT, the deposit will start the following business day.

Please be aware that manually entered ACH payments may face delays due to additional security measures. Using Pay-enabled invoices for ACH collections can help to minimize processing risks. If payments are taking longer to deposit than expected, please refer to this link: Learn about funds on hold in QuickBooks Payments.

Furthermore, we can check out this resource for your complete reference on how to check when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

For future reference, we can open this article on how to categorize transactions uploaded to QuickBooks Online: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Before we wrap up, I suggest you explore QuickBooks Live Expert Assisted to streamline your accounting, maintain precise financial records, and access professional support. This could free up valuable time, allowing you to concentrate on expanding your business.

If you have any more questions about ACH payments, please don't hesitate to ask here in the Community. We'll provide continuous assistance. Have a nice one.
