Hi, @Chef Kevin.
The payment will take up to five (5) business days, as it takes longer while we're setting up your merchant account if you're new to QuickBooks Payments.
Customer payments may be temporarily held if our system identifies details requiring further verification. These may include information related to a merchant's account, specific transactions, or customer details. This measure is implemented to ensure the security and reliability of our payment processes.
Please understand that this is a standard procedure designed to protect both merchants and customers. While it may result in a brief delay, it is necessary to verify that all transactions are legitimate and appropriately handled.
You will receive an email detailing the information or documents required to release the held payment. Please check your inbox for instructions on resolving this issue.
For more information, you can refer to this article: Learn about funds on hold in QuickBooks Payments.
You can also contact our Merchant Service support team for further assistance. They can review your account and guide you on addressing the hold.
