I am the owner of a small business IT consulting firm. I bought Quickbooks to be able to charge my clients through the Quickbooks Payments function. However, my application for Quickbooks Payments keeps getting denied without any reason given. Moreover, the Quickbooks support team told me that Quickbooks does not have to disclose why they are denying it. Each time I called the Merchant Services department, I was told it is an undisclosed "business decision" and neither related to my credit, business model nor industry. I am very frustrated and confused why no explanation is given. I am certain that nothing is in the way of my application being accepted. I was offering to answer any further questions on the phone and give additional information, but the agent did not seem interested. I was hoping to recommend Quickbooks to my clients, but I can't even demonstrate basic invoicing now. Do you have any recommendations on how I can reapply successfully for Quickbooks Payments?
Allow me to help provide information about signing up to QuickBooks Payments.
I understand the urgency to get an approved application to recommend QuickBooks Payments to other clients. We also want to know the reason why it's declined to help determine what to do moving forward and your available options.
Since we're unable to check accounts in this public forum and disclose the reason for the denied application, I suggest contacting Support Specialists this time. This way, they'll be able to check if they have any recommendation on how you can reapply without getting rejected.

As always, please let me know if I can be of additional assistance with regards to the application. The Community is here to ensure your success.
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, the contact details you have provided me are the same people I had contacted previously. They were the ones that refused to tell me why my application was rejected, and today I've received my third rejection with still no explanation. I run a small consulting business and have also applied to be a part of Quickbooks' Partner program, because I plan on assisting my clients with Quickbooks implementations. Again, I am very shocked that first of all, I am being rejected for the use of a standard invoicing system and then secondly, that I am not being told what the reason for the rejection is. I like the Quickbooks product a lot, but if I cannot perform invoicing with payments, then I will need to go with a competitor. Is there any way you can suggest for me to handle this? Or is there another way I can escalate this? Thank you again for the help.
To have a QuickBooks Payments account is very beneficial in business, Nickp68.
I personally like the features of QuickBooks Payments. They're user-friendly and very convenient to use.
Though I'd love to provide details of the result of your application, we don't have access to check your account. Only our Merchant Services Support Team can provide the information.
Aside from applying online, you can contact our sales representatives directly. This way, they can assist you further on your application to make sure everything is good. You can get their phone number here.
Please let me know how it goes. I'm always here if you need anything else.
I just went through the same experience. I had a chat with a rep and they would not help me meet their "know your client" rules. I was ready and willing to provide more information so they could know me but they were unwilling to help. They just said the case was closed and I could "retry" or have a partner try but I do not have a partner. Very disappointing experience.
I know how inconvenient this is for you. Rest assured that the feedback regarding your experience with our agents was shared with the appropriate department and team members.
As much as I would love to get this handled directly, pulling up your account to check the reason for the denied payment application requires your company information which I am unable to do this in public forum for security purposes.
You may need to get in touch back to our QuickBooks Merchant Service Support. They have additional tools to pull up your account in a secure environment and provide you further details about your payment application.
