Good morning, @mark374

Welcome back to the Community! Let's work together to figure out why your customer invoices are not showing paid when printing them.

To clarify, please answer the questions below so that we can determine the next steps for your business:

  • Is the invoice showing as PAID in QBO?
  • Is this happening with all invoices and all customers?

Any screenshots that you may have can also help assist us with giving you the best solution. In the meantime, you can review this guide about invoices in QBO.

I'll be waiting for your response!

and no it doesnt show paid either.  I had to go into Payor View and switch to invoice and we really don't want to have to do that every time.  Can you make it like it was in the past where from the screen that shows the customer name and we hit "print" it will show a paid or unpaid invoice please.

Hi there, @mark374.

I understand why you don’t see the Paid status when printing customer invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I’m here to guide you through the process of printing them with their status.

When printing an invoice, please ensure to toggle on the Invoice total from the Payment Options. This way, the transaction status will be displayed along with the other information. I'll show you how:

  1. Open the invoice you want to print out.
  2. Click the Manage option and scroll to the Payment options dropdown.
  3. From the More options section, toggle on the Invoice total.
    invoice paid 1.png
  4. Click Save to keep the modifications.
  5. Start printing this by clicking the Print or Download at the bottom.

If you have completed the above steps and still cannot view the status of your invoice, I urge you to proceed with browser troubleshooting steps to resolve common cloud-based application issues that may be preventing the application from displaying the necessary invoice details.

You can use the steps below to access these features in a private window:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Once you're done, return to your regular browser and clear the cache and cookies to help prevent similar issues in the future. Additionally, you might consider using other supported browsers for a better experience.

Furthermore, to obtain the latest update on your business's finances, we can access your company file and generate financial reports. Please refer to this article for complete guidelines: Run a report in QuickBooks Online.

If you need assistance managing invoices or other QuickBooks transactions, please leave a comment in this thread, @mark374. You can rely on me to provide dependable and helpful support. Take care!
