Can't uninstall timesheet rounding add-on in tsheets

We are having issues syncing our PTO in QB with Tsheets. We were instructed (by Tsheets support) to remove the rounding add-on in Tsheets to help solve this issue. The problem is that when I attempt to uninstall the add-on, I get this message:

 This add-on cannot be uninstalled. Although TSheets tracks hours worked down to the second, QuickBooks does not recognize seconds.
Timesheet Rounding feature must remain installed.

Welcome to the Community. I can share clarification about the error message.


Since QuickBooks automatically round off numbers to two decimals or nearest hundredths, the Timesheet Rounding add-on should remain enabled. It may be the reason why you're getting an error.


For now, I recommend changing the preferences specific to the add-on. Here's how:


  1. In the left menu, go to Feature Add-ons.
  2. Scroll down to Timesheet Rounding, and select Preferences.
  3. Make your selections, and select Save.

Can't uninstall timesheet rounding add-on in tsheets

I asked for help with uninstalling the rounding add-on as I was instructed to uninstall this per Tsheets support. I'm not sure how your answer addresses my question/problem. I know how to change the rounding increment preferences, which is the purpose of the add-on I am referrring to. My current rounding increment is set to 5 minutes. Where does decimal placement come into the equation and where exactly can I find the add on for that feature? 


QBO PTO and Tsheets PTO are not syncing properly, please help.

I’m here to help you with your PTO situation. Can you confirm that your PTO codes are synced?

First, let’s make sure that you have manually matched your employees' PTO in QuickBooks and TSheets to ensure everything is on track.

Next, while you can’t completely disable timesheet rounding, you could reduce rounding to 1 minute to make sure the increments between QuickBooks and TSheets are the same.
