Changing Master Admin in TSheets

How do we change the master admin in Tsheets? Neither the master admin nor any of the other administrators seem to have control over this.

Changing Master Admin in TSheets

I can share tips to help you change the master admin of the Tsheets account, @smmoon.

 

If you have access to the current master's admin info, you can use it to change the master admin role. You can also ask him/her to change it for you. If the account is integrated with QuickBooks Online Payroll, you'll need to sign in as the current master admin.

 

Here's how: 

  1. The method will vary if you're going to invite a new user or choose an existing one to become the master admin.
  2. In QuickBooks, go to Settings and select Manage Users.
  3. If you're going to invite a new user, click Add user and select Company admin as the user type. Then proceed to this article for the next steps: Invite a new user
  4. If you want to transfer the role to an existing user, hit Edit to change them to an admin. Then, refer to this link for the next process: Choose an existing user

 

If you no longer have contact with the current master admin, I suggest reaching out to our Tsheets support team to help you change the Master Admin. Let me walk you through the steps:

 

TSheets Computer App

  1. For help options, select 
  2. Select Post a Question to receive support in the community, or Chat Now to reach TSheets chat support.

 

For TSheets Mobile Apps

  1. On your Android or iOS, if you have not already, sign in to your TSheets account.
  2. Click Settings or More, then Settings.
  3. Select Help & Support, and then choose one of the help options.

Changing Master Admin in TSheets

Thank you. We don't want to change the QB master admin, we would like to change the Tsheets master admin.The employee tried several times before she left to change the Tsheets master admin but it kept telling her to change it through QB which she was unable to do as she wasn't the QB Master Admin.  I've tried the chat function on Tsheets but that just brings me back to the forum, so I'm posting another question as you suggested earlier.

From what you've shared, it sounds like you are experiencing a situation we are currently investigating where the Master admin of the QuickBooks Time account needs to change to another team member.

 

You'll want to reach out to Support to get help transfer the Admin for QuickBooks Time to the one matching in QBO and be sure to reference INV-00150.
